Christina Sampson’s bleak life as she knew it is blessedly over. If she believed in God, she might thank him for the astonishing inheritance that promises to save her from an abusive, Bible-pounding father. The expansive estate bestowed to her lies in faraway Boston, but with an ill mother, a deranged father, and four vulnerable siblings, Christina fears she will never reach it.

Attorney William Albertson has dreaded the day his dearest client passes away, requiring he bequeath her estate to a certain Miss Sampson, but when he hears the young woman’s voice over the telephone, he reconsiders. She is unexpectedly sweet with a trusting, transparent quality he finds alluring. What isn’t unexpected is the hearty protest raised by his deceased client’s grasping nephews.

Nathan Bradley has lived for the moment the Ethan Estate will bear his name. He never imagined it would go to anyone other than himself and his brother, certainly not to a no-name farm girl from Minnesota. Determined to change this disagreeable outcome, he travels to Minnesota to weasel the estate away from the undeserving Miss Sampson. The plan is flawless, until he happens upon a woman who changes everything.

Three characters. Three unbelieving hearts. One forgiving Father.

I've been a writer at heart since my teenage years, when daily journaling taught me the power of words to reflect, heal, and imagine. That habit grew into a lifelong love of storytelling.

After raising my daughters, I turned to fiction—beginning with Doorway to Deephollow, the first book in a middle-grade fantasy trilogy, followed by Books Two and Three. I then explored Christian romance in What Love Is This, and later ventured into speculative science fiction with LETHAL INJECTION: a science fiction novel. I’m also co-authoring a paranormal fantasy novel that blends suspense, mystery, and spiritual depth. As a multi-genre author, I write the stories that press on my heart—whether they unfold in magical forests, secret prisons, or small-town sanctuaries.

I live in Minnesota with my husband, our three daughters, their wonderful husbands, and our sweet granddaughter. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me reading, enjoying rainy afternoons, or sitting around a campfire with the people I love. My nonfiction work has also appeared in anthologies like Chicken Soup for the Soul and A Cup of Comfort.

Thanks so much for visiting—and God bless.
